Your control tools
Under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming, every account includes:
- Deposit limits — cap how much you can deposit per day, week or month.
- Loss limits — cap your net losses over a chosen period.
- Time limits & session reminders — set how long you play and get reality-check reminders.
- Cooling-off / take a break — pause your account for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months.
- Self-exclusion — exclude yourself for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently.
You can set limits when you register and change them any time. Requests that tighten a limit take effect immediately; requests that loosen or remove a limit take effect only after a 24-hour cooling-off period.
Take a break (cooling-off)
If you need a short break, you can pause your account for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months. During the break you cannot log in, deposit or wager. To activate, go to Account → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break. Your account reopens automatically when the break ends.
Your net position
Your account permanently shows your net position in Canadian dollars (CAD) — your total deposits, total withdrawals, and the resulting net gain or loss over your chosen period. Awareness of your real net position helps you stay in control.
Losses disguised as wins (LDW)
Where a slot or game pays an amount less than your wager, that outcome is shown as a net loss, not as a win. We do not use celebratory sounds or visuals on losing outcomes, in accordance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standard 2.20.
Self-exclusion
You can self-exclude from your PlayFallsview account for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanently. Once activated, the exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends and applies to all marketing communications.
For a centralized exclusion across all registered Ontario iGaming operators at once, Ontario operates BetGuard through iGaming Ontario (iGO). Registering once can block your access across participating online gaming operators in Ontario at the same time.
Learn more or self-exclude at https://www.betguard.ca/. You can also contact our support team to set exclusion on your PlayFallsview account.
Signs gambling may be a problem
- Spending more time or money than you intended.
- Chasing losses or borrowing money to gamble.
- Gambling to escape stress, low mood or boredom.
- Hiding your gambling from family or friends.
- Neglecting work, study or relationships because of gambling.
Protecting minors
You must be 19+ to play. We verify age at registration and through KYC checks. If you share a device with anyone under 19, consider parental-control software to keep gambling content away from minors.
